“A bicycle tour of Mumbai with Reality Tours and Travels helps travellers soak in the city’s vibe in in an unusually calmer state. The tour starts at the break of dawn and covers the southern part of the city. With empty streets and a comfortable degree of chill in the air, the guide from Reality Tours and Travels takes its guests to some of the city’s iconic and lesser known marvels. The bicycle tour starts at 6:15 am and caters to a maximum of 5 people. However, Reality Tours and Travels also book larger groups on request.

The bicycle tour first takes guests to the CTS Station, Mumbai’s only UNESCO World Heritage Site. It’s a station that is famous for its Victorian Gothic architecture. Guests are then taken to the Sassoon Dock, Bombay Panjrapole, Mumbadevi Temple and the city’s beloved Marine Drive. Once the tour is done, guests get to enjoy some delicious breakfast in the form of hearty South Indian cuisine.

Loved it and highly recommend! I did three tours as I was on my own in Mumbai for a few days - the Colaba walking tour, the bicycle tour and the Markets and temples tour. Each one was a fantastic opportunity to spend time with a local and see all the sights. Guides were knowledgeable and super happy to answer questions. I learnt a lot and felt like I got a great insight into the city of Mumbai.

A great way to see Mumbai. We visited some places that we probably wouldn’t have gone to on our own initiative, like the cow sanctuary and Sassoon docks. All of the stops were interesting in different ways, but the best thing was being able to see the city wake up. The cycling is not at all strenuous and our guide was great at looking after our safety. You do have to concentrate and sensibly no photos are allowed while cycling but there are plenty of opportunities on the stops.

Mumbai bicycle tour well worth waking up early for! The bicycle tour exceeded our expectations. It quickly became apparent why this tour starts at 6:15 in the morning, as the ability to get around is much easer and safer at this time. In addition, there are advantages such as seeing the Victoria Train station still lit up, and the markets in the midst of setting up. You are able to see a whole lot in a relatively short period of time. Our guides, Manoj and Rajesh were informative, friendly, engaging and insightful. They also insured our safety when negotiating traffic. If you only have a chance to do one tour of Mumbai, I would definitely put this at the top of your list.
