“MYCycle offers guests to explore a city that’s nestled away at the foothills of Chamundi Hills. The tours are led by Stephan, who was the one that started MYCycle. A single bicycle tour with Stephan lasts for a little over 3 hours and covers an approximate distance of 12 kms. The group tour is restricted to a maximum of 4 people to keep the experience intimate. MYCycle is also an advocate of safe cycling in Mysore so guests need not concern themselves with safety related matters.
For families with children, MYCycle also have provisions for children’s bicycles and a child’s seat in adult’s bicycles. At the bicycle tour, guests pedal across lush green fields, quaint villages, local communities and a host of other sites that hold historic significance. Guests also have the option to choose a full day tour. However, Stephan ensures that regardless of the duration of the tour, guests get to explore and learn about Mysore in the best of ways.

I had an excellent time with Steven on this tour. Learnt loads of history and about local industries as well as getting some exercise in the fresh air and beautiful greenery. Would definitely recommend it.
A day spent at the pace of a bicycle in a land that seems to be lost in time, strewn with historical moments, holy places; carrying amusing anecdotes, and many a fantastic alternate story - Stephen's Srirangapatna cycle tour(the one we took) is a delight! It's a closer look at the villages that dot the countryside, their stories from a glorious past and the struggles they face today, a disappearing way of life, and the few traditions that still thrive. It's stopping by the river and listening to more stories and cycling through stretches and stretches of green fields. It's perfect!
Local, authentic and quieter way of life in this temple village close to Mysore where you can cycle past a typical Karanataka community. See how jaggery is made, watch the ashes and funeral rites by the river and admire the old village walls. Stephen makes this an enjoyable trip for all! Must do.
Stephen's bicycle tour is a definite must! What a fabulous interesting and easy ride through beautiful villages and scenery. So much fun....don't miss it!Also, make sure you stay at Mysore B&B, run by Stephen and Manjula. You're going to love Mysore! We really hope to be back!
We were lucky to stumble upon Stephen's bicycle tour. Despite miserably rainy weather for the first part of the tour, Stephen's chipper attitude and enthusiasm, plus customizing for our 12 year old's birthday (he did a special birthday decoration of her bike!), and giving us rain coats, we had a great time. With the first stop being to hold some baby goats, our daughter was hooked. A month after the tour, she still rates among the top 3 things we did in India. This tour was a great way to see India up close. Stephen's knowledge of world history and its intersection in India was enjoyable to listen to and discuss. I'm from the US and my husband is French and we all enjoyed sharing our respective countries' intermingling (what would have happened had Napoleon made it to India???). Other highlights: monkeys, sugar cane, jumping railroad tracks, goat herders, great chai, spicy biscuits, fresh coconut water and baby cats and dogs. Great time and highly recommended.
After quite some time, I was able to do a cycling tour with Stephen's MyCycle in Srirangaptina. I have been to the tourist spots of Srirangapaitna many times. This tour is unique especially because of Stephen and his way of explaining details and history of the place. It actually drove me to learn more about the place, after the trip. The best part of the trip was cycling through the farms and fields accompanied by his entertaining information. There is a never a moment you will feel bored in this trip.It is quite relaxed and enjoyable.Must to do trip if you are visiting Mysore, if you could cycle a little bit.Kudos to Stephen !!!!
