Agra’s culinary scene is one to drool over and with Agra Beat, you’re bound to get a wholesome experience of the city’s flavours. Agra Beat’s food walk takes guests on a 2 hours 30 minutes tour, to some of the best spots to eat in the city. The tour starts at 5 PM during winters and 6 PM during summer.

When booking the tour, guests can also request for a vegetarian option. From scrumptious street food to the most authentic of Indian main course dishes, guests can expect to get a taste of it all. During the tour, guests get to indulge in street food delicacies such as Pani Puri, Paapdi Chaat, Dahi Bhalla, Aloo Tikki and more. They also get to try a host of Indian snacks such as Pav Bhaji, Samosas, Kachoris and more.”

We contacted them last minute to see if we could do a food tour the same evening and they were responsive and arranged a private tour for us. VJ took us around the old part of Agra, then to the new part. He had lots of interesting information/history facts and was a wonderful guide! The food was delicious and we were stuffed by the end. VJ was very helpful, took photos for us, and even assisted me to get an Ayurvedic remedy for my headache. I’d definitely recommend Agra Beat for the food tour!

I had a really good time on this food tour with VJ as my guide. We visited parts of Old Agra I would have never visited on my own and he explained so much about the food and the culture of Agra. The tour was spilt into two parts, Old and New Agra and this worked well as it gave me a chance to digest before trying more in New Agra. VJ definitely saved the best for last with the tandoori chicken at Mama’s Chicken! Thank you, VJ, for a lovely afternoon/evening discovering Agra!

This food tour of Agra is fantastic. Our guide was very knowledgable, engaging, flexible and had a great itinerary while also allowing you to try other things that caught your eye. If our stomachs could have held more I'm sure he would have kept buying us food. Very knowledgable about the food and the history of Agra. Definitely one of the best food tours I've been on.

Made our trip 5* would definatly recommend What an amazing night we had with VJ our guide . From the moment we met at the hotel we all got on so well he even went out of his way so we could get something from the shop for our little boy. VJ's English is amazing and his knowledge of Agra is second to none . VJ took us round the old bazaar market through back street to some lovely quaint places to try food and experience some of the shops and temples something we would have not been able to do with out him he bought us food and drinks and looked after our 6 year old keeping him away from the busy traffic . We then went to the new bazaar and nothing was to much trouble ending the night at mama Frankie chicken place which was out of this world . The driver we had that took us round was the best driver we had while we were in Indian if you are in Agra please book this tour and ask for VJ one of the best nights of our holiday THANK YOU
